AT studio

"Pandorea Jasminoides" This painting was originally a watercolour and I was never quite happy with it, so I have touched it up with pastel and given it a new, refreshed look. The whole painting almost jumps out to greet you now and I am happy with the results of the extra work. It is a largish piece framed in a gold frame which is approx. 850mm x 540mm, priced at $595.00. Please feel free to contact me direct for any more information on my works. Email - gtavener@tpg.com.au

SEE AT STUDIO

"Afternoon Light" - watercolour. This smallish painting was inspired by the flat farming country north of Bendigo. The colours are vivid and responsive to the typical hot, dry "sheep country" in drought conditions. Even though many areas are now under water from months of unseasonal drenching - the dry will always be an artists overall feeling of this area. Colourful and framed in a beautiful gold frame, this painting is $250.00 and can be seen at my Studio.....along with over 150 original artworks, my studio gallery is always a must for art lovers when coming to Bendigo.

AT THE CAPITAL - VIEW STREET, BENDIGO

Magnolias are so beautiful and it is hard to resist painting them. This watercolour is now showing at The Capital, View Street, Bendigo and one of three paintings of mine on show at the present time. My works are a part of the exhibition called "Six Bendigo Artists" and will be there until 25th. March, 2011. Admission is free to view the works. This watercolour is priced at $495.00 and purchases can be made from the friendly staff at The Capital.

AUTUMN MORNING- OVENS VALLEY
